WHAT IS AGGRESSION?

“Aggression” in simple words is a feeling of anger resulting in hostile or violent behavior, readiness to attack.

WHAT IS AGGRESSION IN DOGS MEAN?

A dog can express aggressive behavior due to various reasons like fear, frustration, loneliness, lack of activities etc. It is one of the common problems in dogs if proper training or proper socialization is not done on time. It is also a great need to calm your aggressive dog.

1. BE CALM AND PATIENT –

It is important for you to stay calm and positive. Your attitude determines the behavior of your dog. If you don’t do the same then it will provoke your dog and will backfire. Make sure not to yell, hit on your dog while he is aggressive.

2. PLAN EVERYTHING –

Socialize your dog at an earlier age this will help him to stay friendly and he will be able to adjust properly. Give treats and praise to your pet whenever he does some good activities. Introduce him to other pets, let him play and enjoy and do not yell unnecessarily

3. AVOID UNNECESSARY SITUATIONS –

As you stay with your dog most of the time so you will know and understand what makes him angry and why is he not able to react as you are expecting. For example, if he is not ok with the strangers then avoid doing so, Give him his own quality time.

4. DO NOT CONFUSE THE DOG –

Stick to the plan which you made for your dog to overcome his aggression, do not change as per your choice or requirement. It will confuse your dog and it will result in more anger and threat.
